W&V PRIZE / JURY VISIT
DOCUMENT TYPE: ARCHIVE NOTE
An afternoon at the O. FILES studio with the jury of the Wessel & Vett Fashion Prize. The visit offered an opportunity to present the upcoming collection and its underlying references, before developing into a wider discussion on fashion business economics, strategy, and decision-making in an ever-changing environment.
We were pleased to welcome a distinguished jury representing a breadth of experience and expertise across the fashion industry, including Cecilie Bahnsen, Olya Kuryshchuk, Ulrik Garde Due, Laird Borrelli-Persson, and others.
A recurring subject throughout the discussion was the importance of "knowing what not to do", as expressed by Oscar. A matter of remaining committed to a distinct, particular vision and exercising discernment not only in the decisions made, but equally in those deliberately avoided.
