SHIPPING AND EXCHANGE POLICY

 

# DISPATCH AND TRACKING

Orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days of placement. All shipments carry a tracking number. A shipping confirmation email is issued at the point of dispatch.

 

# DELIVERY TIMES

Delivery windows are counted from the date of the shipping confirmation.

Denmark: 1–2 business days. Europe: 4–6 business days. Outside Europe, standard: 6–9 business days. Outside Europe, UPS express: 2–3 business days. Delays may occur during peak periods, public holidays, or adverse weather conditions.

 

# CARRIERS

European orders ship from Copenhagen, Denmark via UPS or PostNord. Orders outside Europe are fulfilled via UPS. 

 

# INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMS

Orders dispatched outside Europe may incur import duties and customs fees on arrival. These charges are the sole responsibility of the recipient. Full payment for all items is required prior to shipment.

 

# EXCHANGES AND RETURN

Exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery. One exchange per order is permitted; after which the sale is final. Items must be returned in original condition and original packaging. The following are final sale and not eligible for exchange or return under any circumstances: discounted items, handcrafted or numbered pieces, and made-to-order garments.

 

In accordance with Danish consumer law, customers purchasing standard items via distance sale retain a statutory right of withdrawal within 14 days of delivery. This entitles the customer to a refund upon return of the item in its original condition. This right does not apply to made-to-order, handcrafted, or numbered items, or to any item that has been used beyond what is necessary to assess its nature and condition.

 

# RETURNS

Return shipping is at the customer’s expense and is non-refundable. Returns must be sent directly to our warehouse. Packages routed through drop-off locations or collection points will not be accepted.

 

# HOW TO REQUEST EXCHANGE/RETURN

Send an email to STORE@O-FILES.COM stating your order number, the item received, and the item requested in exchange or return. The contact form in the footer navigation is also available. The item must be returned before an exchange is processed.

 

# PRODUCT DEFECTS

Items received with a visible defect are eligible for a full refund or replacement upon return of the faulty item. Return shipping in these cases is covered by O. FILES; a prepaid label will be provided.

Product imagery on the website is provided for reference only. Color and texture may appear differently depending on screen settings and display hardware. O. FILES cannot be held liable for these variations.

 

# ORDER REFUSAL

O. FILES reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order at its discretion. This includes orders that appear to be placed for commercial resale, orders exceeding normal individual consumption, and any order where fraudulent activity is suspected. In the event of cancellation after payment, a full refund will be issued.

 

# RETENTION OF TITLE

O. FILES retains full ownership of all items until payment has been received in full.

 

 

PRIVACY POLICY

 

All personal data is held in strict confidence and will not be disclosed to third parties under any circumstances. All information is encrypted.

 

Personal data is collected solely for clearly identified purposes, by lawful means, and with the knowledge or consent of the individual concerned. Data is protected against loss, theft, and unauthorised access, use, or disclosure. Information regarding our data practices is available to customers upon request.

 

GDPR: O. FILES processes personal data in accordance with EU GDPR. Customers have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of their data at any time by contacting store@o-files.com. Data is retained only for as long as required to fulfill the order and meet legal obligations. No data is transferred outside the EU/EEA.

# PRODUCT DEFECTS

A product received with a visible defect will be refunded in full or replaced upon return. O. Files provides the return label and bears all associated shipping costs. Made-to-order and handcrafted items are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or cancellations, except where a confirmed production defect is present.
