About us
FOUNDED IN COPENHAGEN IN 2018 BY OSCAR JARDORF
Everything begins in the archive. Coats worn in the cold. Jackets shaped by work. Trousers cut for certain occasions, distinctively situational. Archetypes, each. Not out of longing for the past, but as a starting point.
The ethos is defined in a tripartite dialogue between classic sartorial tradition, uniform codes, and disciplined, purposeful playfulness.
A logic of folding threads through much of the work, inspired by the centuries-old art form of origami, expressing a sensitivity to line, structure, and controlled imperfection. This logic is as much a way of thinking as it is a method of making.
The designs draw from real-life archetypes of wear, reflecting the brand's utilitarian roots. O. FILES seeks to condense lived realities and situational feeling into garments, creating a precise and deliberate connection between clothing and its wearer.
